Frequently asked

How long does the evaluation trial last?

30 days from activation, full-featured. The first-run wizard walks you through accepting the evaluation agreement and activating your license key; GoBubble checks in with the license server periodically after that, and keeps working offline for up to 14 days if it can't reach it — a show with unreliable venue wifi won't get interrupted mid-run.

A pad shows the red R button even though it "has" a clip. What happened?

The clip's audio file is missing from disk — usually because it was moved, renamed, or deleted outside GoBubble. Use the startup integrity scan's Locate option, or reload the file from the pad's settings. GoBubble also tries a few extension fallbacks automatically when resolving a moved file.

The remote web control page won't load on my phone.

Confirm remote access is both enabled and applied in Settings → Remote, that both devices are on the same network, that the configured port isn't blocked by a firewall, and that you're using the exact URL and PIN shown in that panel.

Can I move my license to a new machine?

A license activates to one machine at a time. If you've retired a machine or need to switch, get in touch by email with your license key and we'll unbind it so it can be activated on the new one.

Plugin scanning takes a long time.

Scanning runs on the main thread for compatibility, so a large VST collection genuinely takes a while the first time. It's a one-off cost — the results are cached, and if a scan is interrupted, re-running it remembers what was already found.

What audio formats does GoBubble support?

WAV, AIFF, MP3, FLAC, OGG, M4A and WMA on import, including multichannel files with up to 16 channels (5.1 and beyond load intact, with a meter per channel).

I found a bug or have a feature request — where does that go?

Either works: post it in the forum so others can weigh in, or email us directly if it's sensitive or urgent.
